Although I was born in Edmonton, I've lived in Kelowna for the last 20 years which has made me a bit of a wimp when it comes to cold weather. So of course I end up doing an engagement shoot in Camrose, Alberta in the dead of winter. Don't get me wrong, it could have been worse; just a couple weeks before I arrived, they recorded the second coldest temperature on Earth...beat only by Siberia.
Even so, I'd never shot in weather so cold. It bounced between -20 and -15 C during our shoot depending on where we went. And the massive dumps of snow in the past week meant that light was reflecting everywhere.
I can't confirm that this shoot had anything to do with it, but Dean and Jessica decided to have a Jamaican destination wedding.
